Right off the bat, the aroma gives off rich chocolate or cocoa notes. Just like the No. 4, the construction is flawless—beautifully wrapped with no visible imperfections. You can tell there’s real craftsmanship behind this cigar, and it shows in what the customer receives.
The cold draw hits with a pleasant chocolate note and just a touch of light spice.
Retrohale offers a solid wave of spice.
The first draw is a battle between spice and chocolate, each trying to take the lead—but they work in harmony. After the first retrohale, I got a surprising and welcome hint of creaminess—something along the lines of rich, creamy peanut butter. As I transitioned into the next third, there was a playful back-and-forth between the chocolate and spice again. The retrohale during this stage also started reflecting that same flavorful dance.
Moving deeper into the cigar, a floral note entered the mix, still accompanied by a touch of spice. The retrohale remained spicy but was soon followed by a return of that tasty floral essence. A few more draws in, and that creamy, peanut-buttery note returned—subtle but distinct.
I truly appreciate cigars that evolve as you smoke them, and this one refuses to stay stuck on just two notes. Every draw has me guessing what will come next. The burn line has stayed razor sharp with a solid ash throughout, which adds to the overall quality.
About halfway in, the creamy butter note makes another appearance, with a light spice trailing behind. Retrohale continues to be pleasant and spicy, often followed again by that now-familiar floral note—which now seems to carry a bit of clove-like essence.
In the final third, the spice returns in full swing. Retrohale now brings out a mix of cream and floral, and as I slide into the last portion, the experience becomes all about creamy goodness.
This cigar is a flavor bomb—rich, evolving, and full of complex transitions. I’d absolutely buy this one again.
